War Refugee Relief work/Damage restoration work
Since the 1st and the 2nd World Wars, The Salvation Army has been actively involved to bring peace and reconciliation to the earth under the motto "Let's change the earth from a battle field to a place of peace". The Salvation Army has been at work in various South African countries during recent disputes. Currently in Rawanda The Salvation Army has established a refugee camp in order to help keep the peace for the whole of mankind.

Anti-AIDS and Its prevention campaign
The Salvation Army has been a leading pioneer in Anti-AIDS programs. The Salvation Army has established the first in the world AIDS professional Hospital in Africa. In various countries throughout the world The Salvation Army Anti-AIDS programs provide counseling for patients, clinical treatment of the disease, and hospice work for those dying of AIDS.

Disaster Relief/Resettlement Aid
For those worldwide disasters such as the Bangladesh Flooding, or the numerous Hurricanes affecting the USA, or flood victims and disasters in Korea. The Salvation Army provides both physical and spiritual assistance to victims.

Ethical position of The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army opposes abortion, artificial insemination, homosexuality, prostitution and pornography. The Salvation Army provides educational and prevention programs around the world to those so afflicted, in love, and without discrimination.

Rehabilitation Programs
The Salvation Army works very actively to eliminate drug abuse and its addiction in our society which includes alcoholism. It provides rehabilitation programs to those addicted.
