CommentsHi Becky, I was caretaker for MonMon Chen. At age 15 she was diagnosed with DSRCT in mid 2003 while living in China. I do volunteer work in pediatrics @ UCI and got involved with her, when her parents brought her to CA seeking "the cure", and I'm still involved with DSRCT research through Patrick Stanton and UCI. I just read your latest live web page. You sound so scared and and I'm so sorry you are forced to deal with this crap. Of course, I hope you get well after all this tortured effort, but more so I hope you can find some answers so you can live the life you've got --one way or another that's all any of us get to do. I believe, in the scope of how this universe is billions of years old and the best of us maybe gets a hundred, this life is like taking a breath. It's such a small piece of the journey. You need to find a way to grab on to what you have and make the best of it -- again, one way or another that's all any of us gets to do, you just got a warning shot. There has to be more than this life and whether you believe in God or not, that has to be true. How else do we explain still having the presence of people in our lives that have died? My husband died seven years ago this month and I can tell you for sure, he's still around. Don't be afraid of what hasn't happened, but ultimately will for all of us -- it's as natural as being born. Write back if you feel like talking, but mostly, Live Your Life, Make a Difference ... Take care, Love, Marcia

CommentsBecky, I was observing your webpage and read your statement on my daughter, Nikole in Texas. You yourself are a Inspiration to us all. It has to be tough for Adults as well as children. I look up to all who battle this disease. I pray that together we will all learn what works and what doesn't and find complete healing with this disease with God's guidance. You are in our prayers. Maybe we all can have a Reunion and get together as one. I am Thankful to Patrick Scranton for bring us together and encouraged ready seven year survival on Richard Spencer and Derek Wilson right behind him. The Lord sent all of you to us just when Nikole and I both needed. God Bless. Donna Liles, Texas
CommentsBecky, I read your statement on Nikole and began to cry. You are a very inspirational lady yourself. I find it hard for my child and many other who have to fight this dreadful disease, but I find it hard for adults as well. My prayer is we all pull together and find what works and what doesn't and can solve this disease soon. May God continue to bless us and lead us to complete healing. You are in our prayers also. Donna Liles from Texas
CommentsDear Becky, I was reading your page and wanted to tell you how brave and strong I think you are. Your drawings are beautiful! Keep drawing! I really believe that you can beat this cancer, you are so much stronger than the cancer is. Do the BEST you can every single day, try different things, I mean alternative medicine and Good Luck with it!!! We are going through the same thing now and I can't think of anything else when Patrick is not doing good, but it makes all of us stronger and we learn from it and it is just life... WE are thinking about you. Best wishes to you from the deep deep of my heart. Victoria
CommentsHi best wishes for a complete recovery!
CommentsHi Becky: Wanted to say happy belated birthday! I helped Camille out at the camp this summer and had a blast! My husband Wayne is the pastor at Camille's church and we are those new folks from the great white Canadian north! Although we've been to Colorado in the winter too! Take care, our Bible study group is praying for you and we are always anxious to get your updates.
CommentsHappy Birthday, Becky Here it is 8:00 am on the day of your birth. We have been praying for you every time we pray. Uncle Hank mentions you in prayer before every meal and you know he eats at least 3 or 4 times a day. Anyway, that is when I hear him pray and I know there are many more times. Enjoy the day, eat a delicious meal as you meet with your loved ones and remember who loves you most. The Lord Jesus Christ. He knows your every need and we are sure He will answer our prayers on your behalf. We are praying for all the details to be worked out for your trip to Houston and that you will hear good news.
CommentsHAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY!!! I'll share a piece of cake with you --- my birthday is Saturday!! We're all praying for you here... and I have a friend in Houston who is also praying for you.... Have a great day ---
CommentsI'm Camille's Aunt Maggie and I've been praying for you daily since you became ill. I know the Lord is going to heal you or give you enough strength to endore your affliction. I'm a Hospice Volunteer and each case I have had has been so very special to me. I only wish you were closer to me so that I could visit with you personally - the email will have to suffice for the time being. Take care and God Bless.
CommentsBecky, My wife Judy and I have followed your progress for a while now. We continue to pray for you and are encouraged by your continued recovery. We attend Bob and Camille's church in Quakertown, and appreciate both of them and their spirit. May God's healing hand continue to be upon you. Jim Cox
CommentsHi Becky, I've been a friend of your Aunt Camille's for over 25 years (!). I want you to know that you and Jeremy are in my thoughts prayers. I remember when you and Marty were born! I hope you take strength and hope from all those both near and far who care about you. With many, many hugs!!!
CommentsThis is a wonderful site. I will be praying you all of you. Any illness affects more than just the person who is sick. Those people need prayers too. Just another path we all must walk down to get to our Great Reward in Heaven.
CommentsBecky, these web pages are for you. May they be an encouragement to you and Jeremy (and the rest of the family) and informative to others about DSRCT.
