Here is a listing of Rider Education materials and how to obtain them. All listed materials are free. All listed materials are copyrighted by GWRRA.
Co-Rider CourseHere is the official GWRRA Co-Rider Course. It explains what the co-rider’s responsibilities are on the back of the motorcycle. It also helps the co-rider understand what to do if the rider becomes disabled. A Co-Rider Completion card is issued upon completion of course given by a GWRRA certified instructor. This card may be used to renew or advance in the Rider Education Program for the co-rider.
Parking Lot Practice GuideA 12 page booklet. This booklet describes several exercises, which you can practice by yourself or with a friend. The exercises will help you develop the skills you need to properly operate your motorcycle more effectively and safely. The proper execution of these exercises will help you in many traffic situations. If no MSF riding courses are reasonably available, the Parking Lot Practice Guide may be completed by an authorized person (contact your District Educator) to renew or advance in the Rider Education Program.
Rider Education HandbookA handbook that explains the Rider Education Program for the new Rider Educator.
Road Captain CourseThe Road Captains Course consists of a Student Guide and Teachers Outline. These are a set of guidelines to help aid in training a group to ride safely as a team. These guidelines are intended to be used in conjunction with the GWRRA Team Riding Manual. There is classroom and on bike training. Road Captain rockers may be presented upon completion if instructed by a GWRRA certified instructor (contact your District Educator).
Team Riding ManualAn 11 page booklet. A document designed for reading and presentation. It has much more detail techniques than the Road Captains Course. The techniques presented in the GWRRA Team Riding Manual are sound, safe group riding practices. To order your Team Riding Manual contact your Region or District Educators
